Con la sua musica più volte definita come una lega tra Jazz, Pop e Musica Classica, la band ha vinto il premio I-Jazz 2025, e sta presentando il suo nuovo album in tutta Europa.
La giraffa, nel mondo del simbolismo, simboleggia la “lungimiranza”. Avendo la testa lontana dal cuore, dove risiedono le nostre passioni, è in grado di prendere decisioni con distacco e freddezza.
Nella musica della band, quindi, la mente è libera di volare, di esprimersi con tutta l'ariosità che le è propria; ma allo stesso tempo, il fuoco della passione arde forte nel petto e non trova ostacoli, brucia incessantemente.
È proprio con questo concetto che Matteo Paggi ha scritto le composizioni (originali) per la band.
Lo stile dei GIRAFFE riesce a legare razionalità e passione, creando un'estetica originale che trae una forte influenza dal pop, dal rock e dalla musica classica, il tutto all'interno di una cornice jazz.
With music often described as a fusion of Jazz, Pop, and Classical Music, the band won the I-Jazz 2025 award and is now presenting its new album across Europe.
In the world of symbolism, the giraffe represents “foresight.” With its head far from its heart—where our passions reside—it is able to make decisions with detachment and clarity.
In the band’s music, then, the mind is free to soar, to express itself with all its natural airiness; and at the same time, the fire of passion burns strongly in the chest, unhindered, endlessly alight.
It is precisely with this concept that Matteo Paggi wrote the (original) compositions for the band.
GIRAFFE’s style succeeds in blending rationality and passion, creating an original aesthetic strongly influenced by pop, rock, and classical music—all within a jazz framework.
